OBESITY AND CURE

Obesity is one of the major global concerns with over 1 billion adults classed as overweight with 300 million of those classed as obese. Obesity is not just about being a little overweight, but a point where you must take action to avoid potentially serious health problems. If you are obese, you are carrying excessive body fat in comparison to your height and weight. Today obesity is considered a key contributor for patients suffering from chronic diseases and disability. Your metabolic rate is much faster during early / teenage years but becomes steady from the mid 30’s. If you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 to 29.9, you are most likely overweight and should seriously consider watching your diet and exercising regularly. You can take obesity treatments or drugs if your BMI is 27 or more with the associated risk of type 2 diabetes or dyslipidaemia.

REDUCTIL

Reductil (sibutramine) is an anti-obesity drug that helps obese and over weight patients get rid of their excess fat. It works by affecting the neurotransmitters making you feel full. Reductil can affect your blood pressure, which is a good reason to get it checked regularly. An effective drug, used carefully, you take one capsule once a day until your BMI lowers.

XENICAL

Although all of the treatments mentioned so far are safe, Xenical would probably be considered one of the safer options for somebody who has never tried medication to help lose weight. This medication can be used if your BMI is over 28. You take 3 capsules a day up to an hour after each meal.
